  • - The first time I visited the cottage show homes in years. Goodbye Toronto, hello Kawarthas. It would not be a difficult decision. I was stunned with the view, the decor and of course the cottage. It had a great floor plan, I could easily live here all four seasons.

  • - So lovely, found the washer & dryer. Are there any window coverings? Have you decided if the cottage will be open to view in April? I think I read in comments it may be open then on weekends. I'm still dreaming & praying, most priority is a cure for cancer. RESPONSE: There are window coverings in the bedroom and bath. Cottage will be open 12pm-5pm weekends beginning April 10 through May 2.

There are doors on the left of the basement area. Is this a storage room? RESPONSE: There is a 1000+ SF basement (which is not shown on the VR tour) that is finished ready for drywall and flooring and features a walkout with double doors (visible on the lakefront side of the cottage)

  • - My family (Moore) have holi-dayed and lived on Stoney Lake since the 1850s (Moorehaven and now Wabinaki) ... my uncle (Little) and brother (Little) are both cancer survivors as a result of stem-cell research -- if it weren't for the advances of cancer research, from treatment through to cure, I would have a very different history. As well, my father is chairing the Lake Plan which is ensuring the Stoney /Clear Lakes will continue to support sustained a preserved environment for generations to come -- another example of research to sustain our environment.
    
  • - One bathroom is plenty since there's only space for a maximum of four people to sleep. More bathrooms would be a waste of space. On the other hand , no closets in the bedrooms is ridiculous!

(Which, for some reason, they don't want us to see!) Everybody can troup downstairs in the morning to get dressed. That means that, as soon as I move in, I'll have to change the floor plan.   • - OKAY, HOW AM I TO VOTE? This is a real short-coming for a cause and lottery that has been doing this for a number of years now. Maybe I missed some fine print that talks to the timing of the site versus the brochure, but no one that you expect to get some money from should have to work so hard to find out when the site will be live.
